Brothers Making A Difference [BMAD]

Brothers Making A Difference (BMAD) was founded in 2004 and was the first male mentoring program for the Young Scholars Program. BMAD are the peer leadership team for Prince 2B King. BMAD consists of young African American seniors who go through a selection and induction process to represent the best of the best. Each brother is assigned a mentor and have monthly activities. From community service events to leadership conferences-once these young men have completed the program, they are truly ready for success.

"The Young Scholars Program not only led me to an HBCU, but it taught me how to network. During the Freedom Quest Tour, I was able to meet school deans and presidents that I would have never met if it weren’t for Ms.Rushing and YSP."

-Cleveland Bellard, BMAD brother
